Hensall has commenced work on a £1.5 million M&E refurbishment project as part of the £7M complete redevelopment of Urmston Leisure Centre, in Manchester.
Appointed by lead contractor ISG, Hensall will undertake extensive electrical and mechanical works. With their vast experience of the health and fitness sector, the M&E building services company was chosen by ISG following a reputation for meeting challenging project objectives and delivering a very high standard of installation.
The development will provide the local community with modern leisure, health and wellbeing facilities, including a fitness suite with 100 stations, contemporary cafe, climbing facilities, conference and event space and state of the art fitness studios.

Jo Cherrett, Chief Operating Officer of Trafford Leisure said,
“This is an important milestone for Urmston Leisure Centre, and the centre will provide modern, fun, fit for purpose facilities. Our existing customers will see real improvements to their current experience whilst at the same time bringing new activities to Urmston that will encourage more people to become more active.”
Due for completion late 2019 this project marks one of several underway for Hensall in the health and fitness sector.
